Here's some highlights for this episode of the podcast:

Why would being a realist stop the desire for success? We always start with a goal and work hard to achieve it. However, after seeing no progress for a long period of time, we may just choose to accept our defeat to reality. That's why we think when you begin to accept the reality, you will lose your desire for success. I mean it's just an assumption made by Andrew and Verene.

When should we accept reality and when shouldn't we? Accepting reality is a double edged sword. It can be a good way to manage your expectations or it can just be a good excuse to stop being so hard working, therefore it's important to have a balance. You should always be hardworking on things which you believe in for a fixed amount of time (so you wouldn't have wasted all your time on something with zero progress) and be more realistic on things which aren't that important in your life.

When do we feel like we can do better after we've done something? I believe many felt this before but I can easily split this into two categories:

1) When you've done something which you're satisfied with but you also have new ideas on how you can further improve on it.

2) When you're not satisfied with what you've done because you didn't have enough resources.

Having the first thought is absolutely fine and you should be proud of it because it just means that you are constantly looking for improvements. If you've ever faced the second thought then it basically means that you have some adjustments to make in your life to make your work better.
