S2 Ep 28 - Conquering theme park rides & UK career culture (Part 1)

After we got started, there just doesn't seem to be an end to our 2 episodes series. Here's another episode where we made a life update episode + the main topic episode.

In this episode of life update, we talked about Verene's trip to Sunway Lagoon where she had a chance to get on some theme park rides, and Andrew's initial experience of the UK career culture.

Verene has a fear of heights and theme park rides, therefore it is a huge milestone for her when she gets to challenge some of the theme park rides there. However, Andrew believes that that's not her limit and while many theme park rides may seem scary to Verene, Verene can overcome them easily by just getting on the ride. Of course, this is still a theory to be tested when Andrew goes to a theme park with Verene next time.

Andrew on the other hand began his career hunting journey and thus got to experience some unique career culture in the UK. Many of these might not be exclusively unique to the UK but being out of the job market for almost 2 years just surprises Andrew in many ways.
