In this episode of the podcast, Andrew and Verene shared a crucial problem that many faces in their life, how to overcome easy-to-say but hard-to-do. Many times in our lives, people tend to excel in being advisors or consultants. However, when it comes to taking action, most will back up and disappear. How can we overcome this?

Andrew and Verene started by discussing why it is just so easy to say. Saying is easy because it is just theory. Theories usually don't need to be proven thus people can just make tonnes of theories which they want to say. However, we all know that learning doesn't just work with theories, because first, some theories just don't work, and second, the theory is just not enough for us to grasp the whole idea. Therefore, we need more than theory and that includes an attempt on taking action.

But why do many people hide away from taking action? First, the difficulty curve from theorising to taking action is very steep and this alone makes people not willing to attempt to take action. Second, taking action also comes with many risks including failure. I mean who would want to fail. That's why people choose riskless theorising compared to actually doing them.
