In this episode, Andrew and Verene discussed a topic that is very relatable to them. Understanding why Asian parents almost never listen. It is an interesting phenomenon that happens across most Asian families, that's why we decided to dive deep into understanding it.

This podcast episode like a few others before has been split into 2 because we just have a new policy of making every episode within 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Let us know what you all think about this. Also, we have a new design for each of our podcast episodes. Hope you all like it!

This episode starts with Andrew sharing about his week, primarily focusing on the topic of grocery shopping. Verene who initially doesn't have anything to share did share a bit of her stressor for the week too.

Jumping straight into the topic, they started by sharing their own family experiences. Verene does think that her parents listen to her more than her brothers. Andrew on the other hand thinks that his Dad while does show improvement in listening to him, still isn't putting full attention when listening to him.
